Lalpur Baludhum High School was established in 1962. It stands on the bank of the river Meghna at lalpur village in the district of greater Comilla present Chandpur. It was named after the village lalpur. The school was established to spread education of the rural area. The then the founder headmaster Abdul Jalil established the school with the help of the social elites of the village.
